I needed a good sitemap generator for ChicagoSportsTalk.com the problem is, this website is ran on WordpressMU. So I needed the sitemap generator that would be able to handle multiple blogs on one domain.

Jen, the designer of the website, suggested Google (XML) Sitemaps Generator for WordPress. The problem is it doesn’t support WordpressMu out of the box. So I found this article posted by Jerry Huang that explained how to make this plug in WordpressMu compatible. After a little bit of editing the plug in code, it worked like a charm. Now sitemaps are running on all the Blogs. Life is good…

I started a sports website almost a month ago. Things are going good with it. I just wanted to put a little banner on the front page for awhile. Hopefully it’s not too obnoxious. If you know me you know I like beer. I love the Dos Equis commercials, there is a new one that I just saw. I can’t find the new one on youtube.com but I did find this one. This is the first one I ever saw.

It’s about time we are getting some nice weather, although I hear it’s going to be bad this weekend. I went to the Sox game yesterday, it was a day game against the A’s. The young gun John Danks pitched a great game. I’m liking Orlando Cabrera and Alexei Ramirez, I think ever team should have a Ramirez or Cabrera on their team.

I went to my first White Sox game of the year. It was this past Saturday and it rained non-stop. Horrible weather but we were watching baseball and that means it’s finally going to get warm. They played Detroit which is always a good game.

The White Sox won 7-0 and then they beat them the following day 11-0! I love it when the Tigers lose. Despite it being rainy and the Hot Dog buns were a little stale. We still had a good time.

I’ve upgraded to Wordpress 2.5. It looks and very different. Maybe now I’ll change my layout to reflect the new features. We’ll see when I get some free time. I’ve been busy with my other website. ChicagoSportsTalk.com

Terri and I took Tyler for Sushi at Sushi Wabi. It was his sixth birthday. We took him for sushi on his 5th birthday too. We asked him where he wanted to go this year and he said the same place.

Here he is with a piece of shrimp. He also had the Tempura Shrimp Maki, Vegetable Maki, and California Roll. We also got the edamame, gotta have your beans!

We finished off with some Mochi, which is rice cakes filled with ice cream. They’re good but not what he expected so we stopped at 31 flavors on the way home.
